Workplace Investigations Techniques:

Workplace investigations come in many shapes and sizes, but the way in which they are handled is often a crucial feature in defining internal and external perceptions of organizational integrity. Going beyond traditional mechanical models of investigation, this course concentrates on the development of a functional interpersonal dynamic with all the major stakeholders in the investigative process. In particular, the course will look at the multiple functions of workplace investigations within an organization, cross-cultural communication, interviewing skills and models, and the role of employee representatives.

This program is particularly suited to Human Resources and Labor Relations staffs, as well as Employee Representatives charged with workplace investigation responsibilities. Through practical exercises and case studies, the program reinforces the importance of properly conducting workplace investigations and provides practical tools for effective workplace investigations.
